We Seek Patients To Share Stories on Medical Cannabis Treatment

Cannabis i Fokus is now looking for patients outside of Sweden who use medical cannabis, with the goal of bringing their experiences and perspectives to a Swedish audience curious about international treatment models.

As debates around medical cannabis continue to gain traction in Sweden, Cannabis i Fokus is preparing a new series of interviews that will spotlight patients from around the world who are actively being treated with cannabis-based medicines. The aim is to provide Swedish viewers with real-life insight into how medical cannabis is prescribed, administered, and integrated into healthcare systems abroad.

We know that many people in Sweden are wondering how medical cannabis actually works in practice. By speaking directly with patients outside of Sweden, we hope to give our audience an honest look at the benefits, challenges, and everyday realities of treatment.

The project is looking to connect with patients in countries where medical cannabis is already established as part of healthcare, such as Germany, the UK, Canada, and Australia. Interviewees will be invited to share their stories on video or in written form for our audience.

For many in Sweden, medical cannabis remains a complex and sometimes misunderstood topic. Access to prescribed cannabis is still limited, and public discussion often focuses on political or regulatory issues. Cannabis i Fokus wants to change that by focusing on the human side: the patients who are using cannabis to treat chronic pain, neurological disorders, anxiety, and other conditions.

We believe that storytelling has the power to build understanding. By showing how people live with medical cannabis in other countries, we hope to highlight what Sweden can learn from these experiences.

If you are interested in participating, please e-mail Moa Lily, Moalily@cannabisifokus.se. All interviews will be handled with sensitivity and respect for privacy.
